I’ still here … too bad you are not anymore … but i’m still hoping to have news from you soon .
Just read the news about 11 March and about the fact that Lithuania celebrated yesterday 20 years of freedom out of Soviet Union. I don’t know what is your wish for this day…but i will use the English/American one : Happy independence day !
Hope that spring arrived there… here is still winter and snow !
I was very happy to read your post. I haven’t read the blog for a while and was surprised to find a new post:D Ionela you’re the best:D
I am doing quite fine although I’m a bit caught up with my studies. One day when I was learning to stretch linen on the canvas I remembered Luca with his tamorra because when the canvas is stretched it is a bit similar to it but it doesn’t sound like it:D
A few weeks back we had a traditional celebration called “Uzgavenes” which is meant to chase the winter away. A bit of the project members from Lithuania came together. We talked about the project, laughted, ate ice cream and had a great time. Also a few weeks after the project Valdis came to Vilnius with some friends to Vilnius dance club.
The weather in Lithuania is similar. Yesterday we all thought that spring came. It was sunny and warm but today it is cold and rainy. I wonder what is the weather like in Italy, Georgia or in Moldova? Have you danced since the project?
How are you? Is been almost 1 month since we came back home after one great week in Trakai.
I followed the blog waiting for new post but since i saw that nobody wrote nothing i decided to post something just to check who is still watching the blog for news just like me .
I also wanted to tell you that i miss very much the time spent with you … especially when I’m having a hard day at work . But is ok … cause i’m sure we will meet again sooner or later and we will have at least as much fun as we had during that week.
Now, news about me, … nothing more… in Bucharest we had a real winter with lots of snow … but then it started to rain and now everything looks like a swamp . I hope that spring will come soon… i just wait the sunny days and everything to be green.
How was your winter this year? Or spring already arrived in your cities? Post photos please!
Because of this hard winter i didn’t got the chance to get out of Bucharest to much, but last week-end i spend 2 days with some friends on the mountains and i will share with you some photos i took Hope you will like them and hope that they will make you desire to come and visit me here in Romania
That’s enough for now … i’m waiting news from you too

It is the show called “Labas rytas” which means “Good morning”. Please go to 01:45 – it starts there. Mainly the talk about the different nationalities, how we dance this “Marceliuke” dance, then they ask the participants: they answer that lithuanian dances are not that difficult to learn. Georgian dances are much more complicated to learn. Then they show the italian dance and our main song.
Looks pretty great, except that it was not mentioned whose project it is. Not mentioned that it was partnership building exchange and why we came here particularly…
Anyway, take a look when Luca talks to the camera, why are you Hasan and Yilmaz, so worried in the background?
With news from Irma I announce: tommorow morning at 6.00 (+2.00 GMT) will be aired the show with an episode from Now Dance More. It may be possible to view it online at www.lrt.lt
What is more, I wanted to give all the best greetings to the participants – all of you are inscribed in our memories!! I am happy to having met you. Sorry if me or Lina did not find the chance to say goodbye – this means we have to meet very soon again.
Today I acompanied Luca to the airport and we spent the afternoon with Georgian, Moldavian and Armenian teams. It is a pity, that we could not have a proper excursion, as it is freezing outside. Good luck to everyone, I hope we will not forget this blog and write from time to time.
